During discussion Monday, Franklin city council members determined that it is the city’s responsibility to clear snow and ice off the Washington Crossing bridge sidewalk.

The matter first came up in mid-February after a Franklin resident in a wheelchair was unable to use the sidewalk on the bridge due to a build-up of snow and ice.
