The web pages available at TheDerrick.com are owned and operated by The Derrick Publishing Co. and are accessed by you under the Terms of Service described below. Please read these Terms of Service closely. If you do not agree to be bound by all of these terms, do not use TheDerrick.com.

SUBSCRIPTIONS AND USER ACCOUNTS

An online subscription is required to view most of the content on TheDerrick.com. When subscribing you agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information as required by the subscription form.

Subscribers already maintaining an active and current print subscription may subscribe to TheDerrick.com for a nominal fee. The print subscription must be and remain active and current at the time of purchase and for the duration of the online subscription. If the print subscription does not remain active and current, the online subscription is assessed at the online-only subscription rate from that point forward and terminated when any unused monies have been used in full. The only exception to this policy is granted under our “snowbird/vacation” policy, which permits a subscriber to continue accessing the online subscription after temporarily stopping the print subscription for vacation as long as a credit of at least $2.00 remains on the print subscription.

Subscribers not maintaining an active and current print subscription may subscribe to TheDerrick.com at the online-only rate.

Please note that we monitor online subscription orders. If you place an order for an online subscription at the nominal fee and do not have an active and current print subscription, your order will be assessed at the online-only rate. Once your payment has been used in full, your online subscription will be terminated.

Subscription prices may be changed by us at any time. A subscription order processed under an old rate will continue for the duration purchased in the order. New orders and renewals placed after a price change takes effect will then be charged at the new rate.

All online subscriptions stop at expire unless renewed in advance. Time purchased in a renewal order will become effective when your current subscription expires. In addition, you may cancel your online subscription at any time. Any refund amounts will be determined by calculating the cost of the time used, not the time remaining.

An online subscription is valid for a single household/business use only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for restricting access to your account so that others outside of your immediate home/business address may not access TheDerrick.com using your account. Any violation of this policy will result in cancelation of internet subscription and forfeiture of subscription money. If you believe your login information may have been compromised, please contact us immediately.

PROHIBITED USES

This Site is not intended for use by persons located within the European Economic Area (EEA). We do not request or accept personal information concerning or supplied by persons who are located within the EEA at the time they access this Site. If you have accessed this Site from within the EEA, you should immediately discontinue your use. If you have supplied personal information to us in violation of this provision, whether through the registration of new user accounts or otherwise, please contact us at circulation.thederrick@gmail.com.

All content on TheDerrick.com, including but not limited to news articles, photographs, images, videos, and directories, is protected by copyright laws and may not be reproduced, republished, distributed, transmitted, sold, broadcast or otherwise used in any way without the express written permission of The Derrick Publishing Co. Unauthorized use of content will result in termination of your subscription without refund.

USE OF MAPS AND DIRECTORIES

The information contained in the maps and business directories is provided for lookup purposes only. It is not to be used for marketing or telemarketing purposes.

UPDATES

These Terms of Service may be modified from time to time and all updates will appear on this page. The date of the most recent revisions will appear at the bottom of this page, so please be sure to check back periodically. Your continued use of the site following any modifications to these Terms of Service indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms of Service.
