Family and friends are fondly remembering Mary Jo White as a woman with an exceptional sense of humor and a keen intellect who spent her life in service to the community and whose accomplishments are so numerous they can’t be easily tallied.

White, who carved out several careers as an attorney, Quaker State executive and then a state senator, died Feb. 21 in her home at the age 83.
