Titusville OKs plan for coffee shop, year-round creamery

A parcel of land on West Central Avenue in Titusville that has been vacant since fire destroyed the Powderhorn Cafe in 2002 will have a new two-story building constructed on it to house a coffee shop and creamery.

A new business plan for a West Central Avenue lot that has sat vacant since early 2002, when fire destroyed the former Powderhorn Cafe, has received Titusville City Council’s unanimous support.

Titusville residents Abby and Todd Dingle attended a public hearing on Wednesday evening prior to council’s regular meeting for review of their plans to construct and operate a stand-alone coffee shop and year-round creamery on the site. The plans have already been approved by the city’s and county’s planning commissions, and only had to await council’s final approval.
