Franklin Middle School trains seventh- and eighth-graders in CPR every year, and students were busy Thursday putting some of their lessons to work. Franklin School District has also completed the third link in the chain of survival at the high school and middle school by providing an on-site public access automated external defibrillator. In addition, the school district has at least 20 staff members trained to correctly use the defibrillator on a victim of sudden cardiac arrest.
