St. Stephen students earn awards in robotics competition

St. Stephen School students marked their inaugural year this year in the VEX IQ Robotics Competition. Fifth- and sixth-grade students spent several hours designing, building and programming their robots for the 2024-25 Rapid Relay games. Two St. Stephen teams — Team 87511A and Team 87511B — competed in the Western Pennsylvania VIQRC elementary division at PennWest-Clarion University. Team 87511B earned several awards, including the robot skills champion title, the judges’ award and the teamwork second-place award. St. Stephen participants included, from left, Jonas Pacior, Cole Warren, Tyscen Reed, Owen Toto and Sreehan Pappala.
