Venango DAR visits local elementary schools

In celebration of America 250, the Venango Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) are presenting all the elementary schools and the three public libraries in Venango County with books about the American Revolution. Margie Hart, a Venango DAR member and a Rocky Grove High School teacher, made an appearance in her colonial dress as she presented the historical books to a sixth-grade class at Valley Grove Elementary School. Other DAR members will present books to the other schools in the coming week.
