like' is the model of the regular verbs that end in '-e.
The verb to like is not traditionally used in the continuous tenses. However, in modern colloquial usage, the continuous may be used in the present tense with the meaning of "to appreciate" or "to enjoy" (e.g., "I'm liking that hat!").
