Big Lots to remain open

After months of uncertainty, it appears that the Sugarcreek Borough Big Lots will remain open after it was included in court documents as one of 200 listed stores that Variety Wholesalers Inc. intends to acquire and keep open.

A spokesperson with Variety Wholesalers Inc. confirmed the company's intention, and told the paper that they planned to continue operating the store as a Big Lots.

The eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 in Venango County are closed from Exit 35 to Exit 42 due to multi-vehicle crashes, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said in a press release.
