257 Buy Sell Trade, located at 4317 Route 257 in Oil City and owned by Derek Bailey, is business that specializes in buying and selling gold, silver and platinum jewelry and coins.
2024 was a banner year for 257 Buy Sell Trade. The store expanded its jewelry selection for a tenth consecutive year and they also continued to offer jewelry cleaning, polishing and refurbishing services, as well as watch battery and key fob battery replacement.
They also saw another uptick in the bullion and coin market, as many customers want to diversify their money and have been branching out into the precious metals market. Last year, they held the annual Touchdowns For Tots campaign, and they have donated nearly $8,000 to Venango County Toys For Tots in the past eight years.
In 2025 they plan to transition over to primarily jewelry and coins. They added brand new jewelry to their selection a number of years ago and are going to continue to add more lines of jewelry. With the jewelry store in Franklin closing, they have positioned themselves to become the jewelry destination in the area. They will be carrying a vast selection of new and estate jewelry in addition to coins and bullion. If they don’t have something in stock, they will be able to order in basically anything customers are looking for.
