Section A of the Business Review & Forecast looks at Venango County and Oil City governments, along with local area agencies.
The section starts off with a look at the strides made in 2024 by the multiyear Seneca 100 project on Oil City's North Side, which includes the opening of the five-story building's fifth floor. Work continues on the former bank building's first floor, which is expected to open later this year.
Also, there was another major change on the North Side with the demolition of the former Days Inn hotel, which had been vacant and in a state of deterioration over the past few years. The hotel opened in 1965 as part of the Holiday Inn chain.
There also is a story that details the Venango County commissioners' plans to bring business and economic growth to the area.
The Venango Area Chamber of Commerce, along with businesses in and around Oil City, are among the many other stories featured.
